Sheriff Asks for Public's Assistance in Search for Suspect

On July 28, 2013 there was a shooting incident at a local nightclub in the New Zion community of Winston County. Karl Hopkins was shot in the arm with what was believed to be a .45 caliber pistol. The suspect in this shooting was identified by witnesses as Jamie Potts aka Jamie McBride. Investigators have been unable to locate Potts.
